Five steps from quote to handover
We write the price first, then we paint. We tell you up front what happens at each step and what we need from you.
Step 1 of 5: Quote
Two minutes
You choose the service, your home and rooms, extras and colour. The estimate appears with every included layer and is saved in this browser.
Step 2 of 5: Visit
Free, about 30 minutes
A painter comes in the two-hour window you choose, measures the walls, checks for damp and cracks, and we try the colour together.
Step 3 of 5: Written price
On the day of the visit
The range becomes a single price, given in writing. Any extra work needed, such as damp, is written on a separate line with the reason.
Step 4 of 5: Working days
Three working days for a 3+1
We arrive at 09:00 every morning and leave at 18:00. In the evening the home stays liveable.
Step 5 of 5: Handover walk-through
Last day
We walk through the rooms together. Any touch-up you spot is done that day; leftover paint is labelled and left with you.
Inside the three working days
Sample plan for a 3+1 flat. Rooms are painted in turn; every evening one room is ready to use.
Day 1: Protection and repairs
Furniture is moved to the middle and covered, floors are papered, frames are taped. Cracks and holes are filled with plaster and filler.
Day 2: Sanding, primer, first coat
Filled surfaces are sanded and dusted. Primer makes the paint grip the wall; the first coat goes on in the afternoon.
Day 3: Final coat and handover
Second coat, touch-ups, tape removed, sockets refitted. After a basic clean we walk through the rooms together.
Timings are examples; the final plan is given in writing at the visit.
While we work in your home
Work out your price- Same time every day
- 09:00–18:00. If we are running late, we call half an hour ahead.
- Little smell
- We use water-based paint and primer; with the windows open, the smell is gone within a day.
- Dust dealt with on the spot
- Wiped with a damp cloth after sanding; floors swept every evening.
- Keys stay with you
- You don’t need to be home; we collect the keys in the morning and return them in the evening.
